Easy Vanilla Nutella Cupcakes Recipe

Vanilla cupcakes that are soft and have Nutella spread in them are easy to make. It has chocolate Nutella filling and Nutella that melts on top of it.

Ingredient

– ¾ cup Unsalted butter room temperature – ¾ cup White granulated sugar – 2 Large eggs room temperature – ¼ cup Sour cream room temperature – 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – 1 ¾ cup All-purpose flour – ½ teaspoon Salt – 1 teaspoon Baking powder – ½ teaspoon Baking soda – ½ cup Buttermilk – ½ cup Nutella slightly melted – 1 cup Unsalted butter slightly cold – ¼ cup Nutella – 2 ¾ cup Powdered sugar sifted – ¼ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder – ½ teaspoon Salt – 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – ¼ cup Heavy cream – ¼ cup Nutella topping the cupcake

Preheat oven to 350°F. Use muffin liners in a 12-cup pan. Set aside.Sift flour in a basin. Mix in salt, baking powder, and soda. Set aside.

Beat butter and sugar with a mixer. Beat high for 3 minutes. Fluffy and pale. Mix in sour cream, vanilla, and eggs. Beat high for 2 minutes. Lumpiness is usual.

Add ⅓rd of dry ingredients and half of buttermilk. Mix in another ⅓rd of dry ingredients and remaining buttermilk. Finish with remaining dry ingredients. Scrape bowl.Heat Nutella in a microwave-safe bowl for 20 seconds. Stir.

Scoop batter using a cookie scoop or 1 tablespoon. Put ½ teaspoon of Nutella on each cupcake. Swirl Nutella with a toothpick. Add ⅔rds of cupcake batter to the pan. Swirl in an additional ½ teaspoon of Nutella.

Bake cupcakes 18-22 minutes. When a toothpick comes out clean, cupcakes are done. Allow 10 minutes of cooling. Transfer to cooling rack. Cool thoroughly before decorating.

Wait 30 minutes to slowly chill the butter on the counter. Sift sugar and cocoa powder as you wait.Beat butter for 2 minutes on high with a mixer. Beat in Nutella until combined. Scrape bowl.

Add powdered sugar/cocoa slowly. Combine till thick and smooth. Mix in vanilla, salt, and heavy cream. Mix low until mixed. Beat on high for 1-3 minutes.

If you put the Nutella in the microwave for 30 seconds, it will melt.Put the filling on top of the cupcakes with a pipe. Mix the Nutella and spread it on top.
